I have worked in HR at a senior level for some 35 years, and in that time I’ve gained experience of all aspects of managing people in large, complex organisations and small companies. I’ve also been a manager for all of that time, so know something about the day to day issues employers and managers face.
My job is to help businesses find solutions. That might mean, for example, recruiting a new member of the team, resolving a sensitive employee situation, downsizing, handling a disciplinary or grievance situation or indeed anything else that involves people. I have a lot of experience of working constructively with trade unions, and pride myself on being able to forge and maintain good working relationships with people at all levels in organisations.
